That's a serious Freudian slip.

I'd wait until your good and clean. You may have some issues.

Good catch, O/S.

Johnathan, so many companies DO anymore, and it could be a 'nope' yesterday and a 'here we are, yes!' tomorrow.

Follow Old School's advice, good sir.

Best wishes! More on Prime: Truckin' Along w/Kearsey!

Omg, first thing I saw too. Lol. Reminds me of the Canadian cop doing the pot test add.

High how are you.

Hair follicle tests can kiss my A$$. That being said most of the big players seem to be in love with the idea. Better to plan on them doing it and be surprised if they don't.

I am going to get righteously stoned out of my mind once I retire. Not the least bit ashamed to say so and if some ******bag doesn't like it........well tough. In the meantime......DOT says it is a no no so I will leave it be.

Best of luck to you as you go forward in your career.

DOT:

Department Of Transportation

A department of the federal executive branch responsible for the national highways and for railroad and airline safety. It also manages Amtrak, the national railroad system, and the Coast Guard.

State and Federal DOT Officers are responsible for commercial vehicle enforcement. "The truck police" you could call them.

Please, for the love of God, if you can't pass any drug screening without "help" don't even try in this industry. Sober up, stay that way, THEN look into driving only if you can stay clean and sober.

I actually like the idea of hair tests for hard drugs and despise them for marijuana.

I'm still kind of curious why both parties haven't used marijuana legalization as a major "centrist" voter draw. Republicans aren't going to lose their base if they push for it but may pull some mid-left voters in, especially right now. Democrats could possibly pull some center-right people who have strong "liberty" desire on issues and hate seeing government bans. Who knows, it will be interesting to see what the DOT does once it's federally legal. Also be interested to see if the feds or states ban private companies from testing for it or something else.

EPU:

Electric Auxiliary Power Units

Electric APUs have started gaining acceptance. These electric APUs use battery packs instead of the diesel engine on traditional APUs as a source of power. The APU's battery pack is charged when the truck is in motion. When the truck is idle, the stored energy in the battery pack is then used to power an air conditioner, heater, and other devices
