Hi all have my road test tomorrow was supposed to take it on 8/5 it got cancelled due to weather anyone have any pointers for me. Doing orchard park,Ny site at 10:45am

Maybe the cancellation was a blessing in disguise ?!?

Read through this... ^^^^ TOTALLY full of information! Me, personally?!?!? Sing the following song in your head, before you climb in WITH your 3 points of contact, for sure.... (YES, they'll watch for that, also...mount & dismount.)

Yep, showing my (our) age . . . but when Tom was teaching / training me ... I'd ALWAYS sing the first few bars of it, in my head. (And yeah, sometimes they'd get stuck on repeat, haha!)

CDL:

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:

  • Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.
