Anyone have any recommendations for one? Preferably a dustbuster sized with some attachment hoses for getting under seats and in corners?

How's everyone been?

Hey travis, good to see you around again. I don't really have a recommendation for a dustbuster, but I'm pretty sure they sell them and truck stops still. You could use rewards points to purchase one.

I got this Walmart cheapie for my car almost 2 years ago, and it's going strong. I just store it on the top bunk, with Velcro cable minders for the cord and hose. Does great for my truck. 0584469001662885996.jpg

Thanks man. Between a newborn at home and new hire training I was swamped. Finally been on my own 3 weeks or so and getting an idea of what I want/need in my truck for living.

Get a cordless vac. With rechargeable battery, of course. The first place I look for tools or equipment for the truck is at Harbor Freight. These items don’t get used everyday, so high priced stuff is not necessary.

3 gallon, 3hp Bauer wet/dry vac is what I got. A little bigger than I was planning on but it’s a good deal and still very easy to store under my bunk. Comes with a couple attachments, long cord and long hose.

Sure IS so good to see you around, man! I feel for ya. I was the wife at home with the newborn, when Tom was 1st OTR , also. It's tough; I know it is ... kinda first hand, the other way!

Congrats, man. Kudos to the wife, for sure. She deserves a trophy, but heck; I never got mine, either.. well yeah, I did. A great kid, of course!

Here's an Amazon link to the BEST 'go to' in my opinion. It's even USB C charged, and has navigation lights, with an extended wand. All at less than 3#.

Ofuzzi Extra Long Lightweight HandVac

Ofuzzi Handheld Vacuum Cleaner, Extra-Long Crevice Tool, 2.24lbs Lightweight, 40AW/13kPa Surging Suction, LED- Display&Light, Up to 30 Mins Runtime, Portable Vacuum for Home Cleaning (H9 Pro, Black.)

Stop back soon, man!

Over The Road

OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.

Eh vacuum lol had blower hose attached to seat airline, less space worked fine. I'd be home n get a wet mop in and clean up better.
