It must be legal if it's on the screen, right? Send it!

Qualcomm (or Omnitrac, if you will), is not what the newer tablet based ELD’s are. My Omnitrac malfunctions everyday one way or another. I’ve been told that switching to the tablets has a high initial cost , which is why only the bigger companies have them. I really loved the tablet when I was with Schneider. It’s been a hard act to follow with the Omnitrac.

Chief, that screen shot is crazy messed up. Mine has never been quite that bad. Lol.

Qualcomm:

Omnitracs (a.k.a. Qualcomm) is a satellite-based messaging system with built-in GPS capabilities built by Qualcomm. It has a small computer screen and keyboard and is tied into the truck’s computer. It allows trucking companies to track where the driver is at, monitor the truck, and send and receive messages with the driver – similar to email.

It's actually not an error. Those are my actual hours of service based on my location.

HOS:

Hours Of Service

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.

Tablets are not all that expensive. I have one I use for my ELD and scale house bypass software. I’m certainly not a big company.
