No, it is a new account they got from Cowan. They have a 3 year contract with Coca Cola moving product from DC to DC. Full truckload no touch freight. I didn't apply when they first sent me the info because I knew I am too short to stock shelves in a grocery store. I have been assured I won't have to unload anything, so applying seemed like a no brainer!

I truly missed my Steelers this past season! I saw a few partial games but was always having to leave or go to bed. Not fun!!!

I was offered a local driving job with Marten Transport!!! They have a new account in the Cincinnati area and hired me with my 6 months experience, which is huge because they normally require a full year! Like 6 string had pointed out, sometimes the market you are in will make a big difference on what companies will accept for experience level. I don't really need to be home every night, but they are paying a daily flat rate plus cpm , I will sleep and bathe at home each day, and get Saturday and Sunday off unless I choose to work Saturday. I can't wait to get started!!!
CPM:
Cents Per Mile
Drivers are often paid by the mile and it's given in cents per mile, or cpm.
OOS:
When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.
