Totally kicked that test's butt. 100% on the engine compartment and a few points off for lights (stupid chicken lights - forgot to include them) and the order of the in-cab went wonky, only two encroachments on the backing with one pull up. Don't know the score for my drive test but I don't give a crap because now I can get trucking! Orientation starts Aug 2!!

Don't know the score for my ... test but I don't give a crap because now I can get trucking!

Y'know, even though you get a score, it's pass/not pass and when you get that CDL , that's what matters to both you and your hiring company.

CDL:

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:

  • Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

The final "score" doesn't matter because you received an A.
