Little Sis- I too am happy for you. I remember you writing about the lifting test, then you were working out "x" number of hours. NEAT. You have succeeded!

Good luck and God Bless!

Way to go!!! That's awesome news!!! Anyone who has the determination to stick with it like you did (and succeed) clearly will do well as a flatbedder :)

Which company did you end up at? Did System take you back?

Thank you all so much :) I am 100% sure that I'll need you guys to help peel me off the ceiling over the next few months. If I can just keep in mind how I felt when they handed me my ID badge and card, I should be ok. Called my dm today and I'll meet up and be dispatched with my trainer on Monday afternoon. I keep praying and trying to think happy thoughts. I have one of those personalities that either you love how upbeat and bubbly I can be while I work my butt off, or you absolutely can't stand it. Hopefully, my trainer falls into the first category. Usually, the guys just start thinking of me as that "little sister" (hence the name change), but like all little sisters - we can be really annoying sometimes :) Ha!

TPC, System did take me back - Thank heavens! It seems like God has guided so much of this journey because as long as I put in some hard work, I reap the rewards. I love System Transport. They are incredible and the staff and other drivers at the company are so helpful and compassionate and really know their stuff.

Jolie - You know, I was worried about the physical requirments too. But with a little training, I was able to get that 90 lb tarp up there like a boss mama! Just takes a combination of strength, technique, and patience.

Old School - Sending you a big hug of thanks for all your encouragement through this whole process. I really appreciate it. You really live up to the saying we were taught - "never leave a flatbedder behind."

Jetguy and others - thank you for following my journey. It's so wonderful to know that there are people like you, all over the country who would care about little old me :)

Happy and SAFE Driving!

Ps: I'll start my training diary on Monday ;)

I guess I should have looked at your profile pic a little more closely... I see the System hat now!

You should change your name to "Little Syster"
