TA has these on sale right now, that come with a sun shade, window mount and a bean bag mount for $299. The best part is no rebate hassle, that's $299 + tax out the door. I gots mine. LOL!

Patrick B is new, not dumb:

TA is the name of a truck stop chain. TA and Petro are the same company, and Flying J + Pilot work together. Then there's Love's. They are the nationwide chains, of course there are also regional and "mom and pop" operators, too.

Fun fact: "TA" stands for TravelCenters of America, but that name just doesn't fit on a sign easily.

Regional:

Regional Route

Usually refers to a driver hauling freight within one particular region of the country. You might be in the "Southeast Regional Division" or "Midwest Regional". Regional route drivers often get home on the weekends which is one of the main appeals for this type of route.

Why does the asking of dumb questions always require a defense of the person asking the question?

I don't believe that I am dumb, but I do often ask dumb questions. Nothing wrong with that, is there?

No one said the OP's question was dumb and no one needs to defend not knowing something. That's why we are here.

The chains all have rewards cards too...so when uommyou buy fuel and goods, you not only get points for free stuff but for showers and food.

I actually bought my Rand McNally 730 with my flying j rewards points. They build quickly ;)

Wait a minute! Are you reading that thing? Brett built all the information in that thing right into his High Road Training Program. I hope you're making good use of that resource. I never cracked open my CDL manual and aced all those pesky tests.
