Well gotta put on a brand new account as one of 5 pilot drivers. Tell me again how much Swift is a dead end.

Well to be nice, or my FM was just in a mood.. Got an 18 Cascadia. 11k on the clock!!!!

Here's the question.. Has anyone found a good location for an XM antenna? I had so so luck putting the puck above a marker lights. Got the club style with mirror bracket. Not much of a difference. Any suggestions?

Fm:

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.

Oh Swift is a dead end all right. They rely on fools like you who happily sacrifice themselves as guinea pigs to serve their purposes. Then when you make a few mistakes--they show you the door. Sounds like a great company to me!

Ok ok totally joking!! I couldn't resist. Congrats on the gig and on the new truck. I've seen a couple 18s that have a cool new look. Did you get one of those or does it look like the 17s? What account and where? Let us know how it goes!

My cascadia came pre setup for satellite radio. Maybe that's just a Prime thing, I don't know if all are that way.

Google search "Cascadia spot mirror antenna mount". That is how I have my "stalk style" antenna mounted. I only lose signal when I am in tunnels or very high berms to the south.

Sorry, got a holdover 18. Still has the same look and setup as previous models.

It does have an inverter, but don't think it's hooked up to the cabin outlets. I'll investigate further when I have more time.

Thanks for the heads up on the spot mirror mount.

The new account is Post/Malt O Meal. Main plants are in MN and IL., but they run nation wide.

The initial plan is to just run us out of hrs, 34 in place, with that being near home every other week. Just fine with me. Great Lakes is fine, and good money, just boring as all heck. It was like Costco light. Go to Morris IL, then a store within 550 miles. Return trip repeat.

Hey, I actually like running out of Morris. They used to run me through there all the time. I've actually been trying to back out there but the planners aren't cooperating.

Wish I lived closer. LOL!

Bummer! Oh well, still can't complain about a new 18.

Neat! Hope they keep you running as hard as it sounds like they will.
