Yes, you can drive the truck loaded. There are a few exceptions. You can't drive a loaded tanker or a hazmat load without the required endorsements.
Explosive, flammable, poisonous or otherwise potentially dangerous cargo. Large amounts of especially hazardous cargo are required to be placarded under HAZMAT regulations

I believe it also depends on the state. We have had this convo before on TT. If memory serves Rickipedia found a list where some states do not allow a CLP holder to haul freight.
Before getting their CDL, commercial drivers will receive their commercial learner's permit (CLP) upon passing the written portion of the CDL exam. They will not have to retake the written exam to get their CDL.
You can not do it in California Patric is correct it is state specific.

Does anyone know if you have a CDL permit driving with a licensed CDL driver, if you can drive the truck loaded or not. It's been told to me that you can not with just a permit
