Over the years I've had the pleasure of meeting several of the members in our forum as I move around the country. It is always a pleasure to get to do this sort of thing. Just yesterday I got the opportunity to sit down for a meal with G-Town, as I was making a delivery in his hometown in Pennsylvania. He's a great guy and we had a nice visit. It's funny how it all worked out. My original dispatch was going to put me up into Rhode Island, where I was hoping I might get to meet our youngest Trucking Truth member, Linden. Things ended up getting changed up a bit and my consignee was Yarde Metals in Limerick, PA. G-Town happened to have a short day that day and when I got to his town around 1600 he was able to spend a little time with me before he was scheduled to help celebrate his mothers 88th birthday party.

Here we are enjoying ourselves at a little Mexican restaurant near one of the Wal-Mart stores that he often times makes deliveries to on his dedicated account.

Consignee:

The customer the freight is being delivered to. Also referred to as "the receiver". The shipper is the customer that is shipping the goods, the consignee is the customer receiving the goods.

...when the moon is in the seventh house, and Jupiter aligns with Mars, and peace will guide the planets, etc,... etc...

Sometimes everything does line up...as it did on the last day of August, 2017. Although I met Old School for the first time yesterday, it was as if I'd know him my entire life. I have met some wonderful and interesting people in this profession, unexpectedly one of the many benefits of not only this job, but the Trucking Truth Forum. Several of my best and most trusted friends are truck drivers, I consider Old School as one of them now.

Safe travels.

One thing I would really love to do is organize a meet up with you two and also Brett as well. I would love to meet up with all of yall at once so I can buy yall a nice meal. We are currently at the TA in Wadsworth IL. Its on I94 Exit 1. We are both on a reset now. The miles are so great its nuts! I sure love it.

Hey G town I forgot to mention I was in your neck of the woods about a day and a half ago. We picked up a load in Hazleton Pennsylvania and delivered it here to Wisconsin and now we're at the TA here on I-94 Exit 1 in Wadsworth Illinois on a reset. I was thinking the whole time I was in Pennsylvania I was hoping I could run into you so maybe we can get a meal together or something. Oh well maybe next time. Sometimes we might end up getting close to the Carlisle area because CRST has a terminal there in Carlisle so who knows we might actually get to meet up someday.

Terminal:

A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.
