Testing A New Menu For TruckingTruth

Hey everyone, I'm putting together a new menu system for the website. I just have a little test page setup right now. Have a look and let me know if this menu functions ok for you.

This will not be the final layout for the menu items. I threw together a quick layout that contains everything we have but the final version will be organized differently. So I'm not too concerned just yet with feedback about the organization of the menu. We'll get to that soon. Right now I just want to make sure that it's working well on all devices. I'm in the process of testing it on my devices now.

New TruckingTruth Menu

I like the new menu. Seems to be able to get you what you want without too much scrolling or searching. Works on my windows phone.

I like it on my phone (Android using Chrome) It's better than the floating one on the bottom which is always in the way.

The one on the bottom is an in-page menu that lets you get around the page you're on quickly.

It is clean, it works on both my android browsers. I like it. I will check it on my tablet when I get back to hotel.

Yeah, the big menu that slides in from the side will be the menu for the entire website. It will be the exact same menu on all screens - desktops, tablets, and mobile.

I have a Samsung Tablet, and a Samsung Galaxy 6 phone.

The Menu works well on both. On the phone (smaller screen, you know) the original screen slides right, only the MENU block width shows, and the menu takes up the rest of the space. (From the original page you only see the TT logo from the top left, the letters "Tr" from the post title, and the blue MENU button.)

Yeah, the existing one was fine a long time ago before we added a bunch of new stuff.

You could make the menu using Bootstrap and eliminate the need to hide one depending on the device type.
