Okay first off, what's the deal with the short handle on the window squeegee? I'm 5'8" & I feel ridiculous trying to clean the windshield, I feel like a midget. Second, what's the trick to getting a clean windshield? Scrubbing away with the squeegee doesn't do a damn thing.

Most fuel stops I use have long handled squeegees, but, just in case, I do have my own long handled (collapsible handle) squeegee that I bought at a Walmart for about $15. If you're really struggling to get up there, open your hood and stand on your steer tires.

I also treat my windshield with RainX.. the concentrated stuff in the small bottle. Make sure your windshield is spotless before you apply it. Another trick is to add a drop or two of Dawn dishwashing liquid to your wiper fluid before you pour it into the reservoir.

Spray windshield cleaner and let it soak in then scrub.

One can only imagine how this fella clears snow from the roof of his trailer.

The first thing I do in a fuel island is grab the squeegee sponge and soak the windshield before beginning to fuel. Then after I have both tanks filling I go back and scrub the windshields. That little bit of soak time makes it a lot easier.

I use the door mirror to pull me up onto the tire and stand on them to wash.

I ran into something cool up in Montana. They had these step up platforms. You could roll them around to where you needed. I was like, these are so cool. To bad they don't have them everywhere.

Oh, dude, that makes me think though. They do actually sell those step up, not sure what you call them. I have one that is around 3 feet high, with 3 steps on it. It's not exactly a ladder. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. Ah, just found one online, they are called, Stool ladders or Kitchen ladders, or something of the sort. Oh, and they fold up... almost forgot that part.

That's what I do, rainy. I use the steer axle hub as a step and pull up on the mrror to climb on top of the steer tires. Every now and then I'll be at a fuel stop that has a ladder.. woohoo!

My luck spraying windex isn't good lol. Usually due to wind I'd get a face full of it or can't get it on one side of the windshield.
