And I hit the damn submit button instead of the preview buttton... Typing on a phone really sucks.

As I was trying to say, I also owe a huge debt of gratitude to the community here at TT for the advice and support (and the great tools on this site) that got me this far.

You gals and guys are completely awesome and I wish more people stopped in to find that out. Bigger is not always better, but I sure wish more people knew just how great it is here.

Many thanks to all of you for dealing with my rants and the posts I made while my head was up my backside. I don't associate with too many people in real life, and outside of school, you all are the only truckers I associate with. So I really do owe thanks for all the knowledge, advice, and reality checks!

Thank you all so very much!

Body mass index (BMI)

BMI is a formula that uses weight and height to estimate body fat. For most people, BMI provides a reasonable estimate of body fat. The BMI's biggest weakness is that it doesn't consider individual factors such as bone or muscle mass. BMI may:

  • Underestimate body fat for older adults or other people with low muscle mass
  • Overestimate body fat for people who are very muscular and physically fit

It's quite common, especially for men, to fall into the "overweight" category if you happen to be stronger than average. If you're pretty strong but in good shape then pay no attention.

Excellent! Indeed there's much stress over stuff that will fix itself at the right time. I'm so glad that certain instructor was able to help you achieve that "aha" moment. I'm sure most by us recall a particular instructor. That's the beauty of multiple instructors and trainer's. Each have their own personal way of instruction and when one doesn't resonate with you, then there's bound to be another one lurking who will.

Again, congratulations on passing your backing. I know that was huge for you.
