Night before last I was parked at the TA in Effingham, IL when this guy came cruising through looking for a parking spot.

It made me wonder if Santa Claus had given up on old Rudolph and decided a big rig is more efficient at getting him around.

Wow, that is fantastic!

One time I got pulled over on a backroad in Texas, about a week before Christmas. He said I was doing 62 in a 55 or something like that. Well I had the entire inside of the truck just covered in lights and Christmas decorations. He was like, "Wow, you've really decorated that thing, huh?" and with a huge smile I said enthusiastically, "Yeah, I love Christmas and I'm super psyched about it. I'm delivering in the morning and then heading home for the Holidays."

He let me go with a warning. It's hard to give a happy guy with Christmas decorations who's getting ready to head home for the Holidays a ticket, even if you're a Texas State Trooper.

Talk about distractions on the road!!!

But pretty cool, Santa must have given Rudolf the night off. LOL

That's awesome! And congrats on being smooth, Brett =) I love seeing rigs all lit up - hell, I love looking at rigs in general! Anyone who'll be in Oregon Aug 23-24 next year should check out the truck show in Brooks!

Cool!

Every time I went through Effingham I wondered if some enterprising person ever built an eatery called The Effingham Sandwich. Who wouldn’t want one? 😎

Another lit up truck. For those of you who follow NASCAR real closely this is Chad Finley's family's tow truck.
