I use the two Jeremy uses plus my CAT scale app is fantastic. I can weigh out without leaving the truck and it emails the ticket to my phone for my records. Plus it's just as easy to re-weigh if necessary for the $2.50 fee.

CAT Scale:

A network of over 1,500 certified truck scales across the U.S. and Canada found primarily at truck stops. CAT scales are by far the most trustworthy scales out there.

In fact, CAT Scale offers an unconditional Guarantee:

“If you get an overweight fine from the state after our scale showed your legal, we will immediately check our scale. If our scale is wrong, we will reimburse you for the fine. If our scale is correct, a representative of CAT Scale Company will appear in court with the driver as a witness”

I use the TA app, my pilot, trucker path, CAT scale's Weigh My Truck, and a transflow app. Oh yeah and AccuWeather.

How do y'all reweigh with the CAT scale app? I haven't been able to figure that out. I also use the Storm Radar app to keep an eye on developing systems.

Keith, it's automatic with the app. When you go back over the scale, you just go through the same initial process but it will ask you if it's a re-weigh. And then it displays the $2.50 fee, you accept and the rest is just the same.

Now I think this applies only if you re-weigh at the same original scale and I don't know if there is a time limit with a re-weigh. But I don't think anybody re-weighs at a different scale location.

Accuweather, Google maps and Trucking Truth. All other apps are strictly window dressing.
