Ask your safety department.
I'd opine most likely not.

I think it also depends on what they give you to numb the area....and as unmanly as it sounds a lot of guys get something to "calm" there nerves. I have had that done, and you would be surprised, that the pain and swelling is a bit more than one would think.
Rob, I had one of those done a long time ago (got a twofer deal because I got a lobotomy at the same time). I do remember I only needed aspirin or ibuprofen afterwards. The pain is almost entirely phycological. It was done by the same doctor who does circumcisions for free at our local hospital. He just works for tips.
Good luck!

I had a vasectomy and a reversal many years after. The vasectomy is fairly painless. Worst part was the feeling of your insides getting pulled around. The day after it feels like you got kicked by a horse there. For the next week it looks like you got kicked by a horse there. I honestly was only sore for a couple days. Now the reversal, entirely different story. Don’t recommend that one, lol.
Probably won't need new Medical card. But.......no new Fathers Day cards either.

With the cost of raising children this is a good thing...
Hey Rob, I almost forgot the most important question to ask the Doctor ahead of time:
Doc, do you know the difference between a vasectomy and a castration? If he hesitates at all, find another Doctor!
Amen! I got 3 already..oldest is 3 and all were single births. I wont miss an additional fathers day card

Later this month I'll be getting a vasectomy done. I'm taking a week vacation and I'll be off work nearly 2 weeks after procedure due to the way my work schedule falls. By the time I go back I wouldnt have any restrictions, was told I'd be given a script for Vicodin (dont plan on filling it). At this point I'm unsure if I'd need a new physical as it's just a simple 15 minute in office procedure, not a surgery. Anybody got experience with this?
