Holy Cow! I just read this entire discussion from start to finish for the first time. I hadn't read it yet because I thought the SS card/Prime topic was nothing I would be interested in. Boy, was I wrong! I've been laughing the whole way through.
I've just got to say that no matter what everybody thinks of Smart C, he is one persistent young man. OMG!

SmartC, I forgot to ask...how are your slide rule and abacus skills? The trip planning portion of orientation will go much smoother if you bone up on those before you leave.
