Is yours a 389? Gotta like that classic look.
Yes Jim it’s a 389. Her T680 gets alot better fuel economy, but I too love the look of the 389.
She driving all solo at Steven's, PJ?
Oh yes, has been for 7 months.
No doubt look the look. The stripes on your truck are probably my most favorite part of the rig. And it cleans up nice.
Nice trucks. Nice grass good show bet that was fun/ hot work.
Nice PJ.
('Bout time you wash her!)
Guess that is the only time I am likely to ever see her clean... unless I come visit you (if ever invited) on Hometime.
(I know you run hard when you run)...
Enjoy!
Thanks Brian and 40. Marc I never seem to be around a truck wash when I have time, they always are when I don’t have time to stop, lol. And your always welcome to stop by when your down our way. I actually had to jump through a bunch of hurdles with safety at Stevens for them to allow her to bring her truck home. They even required me to send them a disclaimer that I would not bill them for the parking. I thought that was a bit odd, but we got the approval. That was all I cared about.

I’m taking a much needed break at home with my girlfriend. Gonna have to go back on the road to slow down, lol. So much to do in a short period of time. Got everything done, License renewed for 8 years, truck and apu serviced, some preventive maint outside of the normal, and trucks washed. Took a pic after washing them. The black one belongs to her company, thank goodness those bills aren’t mine, lol.
HOS:
Hours Of Service
HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.APU:
Auxiliary Power Unit
On tractor trailers, and APU is a small diesel engine that powers a heat and air conditioning unit while charging the truck's main batteries at the same time. This allows the driver to remain comfortable in the cab and have access to electric power without running the main truck engine.
Having an APU helps save money in fuel costs and saves wear and tear on the main engine, though they tend to be expensive to install and maintain. Therefore only a very small percentage of the trucks on the road today come equipped with an APU.
