Took this but now forget where. I thought it was a pretty cool building and meant to look it up and see what it is.

Customer I go to 2 to 4 times a week. Its 3 drop and hooks per load. In the first picture the load is on the right. Have to blindside between those cars. The empty is on the left. Have to than pull the empty out and park it next to more cars so other trucks who back of the street can get in. Go grab the load and blindside in that dock.

Drop And Hook:

Drop and hook means the driver will drop one trailer and hook to another one.

In order to speed up the pickup and delivery process a driver may be instructed to drop their empty trailer and hook to one that is already loaded, or drop their loaded trailer and hook to one that is already empty. That way the driver will not have to wait for a trailer to be loaded or unloaded.

HOS:

Hours Of Service

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.

Trailer numbers visible at a half mile.

"Make sure you grab the correct trailer this time! You can't miss it!"

I passed by this one three days ago in Ohio. The middle guy's posture says it all--"What am I going to tell the boss?"

I spotted this wind turbine blade transporter on an overpass in Nebraska yesterday.

I'm looking at a 3 hour wait on a load of dry ice. I can't complain, the view isnt bad! Plus it fits the stereotype of Iowa haha
