Good luck, Marc. I want you to say hello to some people up there for me. I'll give you some first names later. But if you get Dana for classroom instructor you can count your blessings. She is a terrific teacher. If you meet her, mention my name and see if she gives you the eye roll! Lol.

Marc asked: "Will do! But should I mention that I know you on the first day of class... or the last???"

Marc, great question! No need to wait, I left a favorable impression as far as I know. Kinda got a reputation for corny humor, (if you can believe that) but I know my classmates enjoyed the ride. Ask Dana if she remembers why I got fired from the orange juice factory. There were Howard (H), Brett V., both truck trainers, both excellent teachers. They really have an excellent staff up there and you will get great training. One tip, don't bring an apple for your teacher, bring an orange. Lol. Also, the coffee from the vending machines is best avoided.

EPU:

Electric Auxiliary Power Units

Electric APUs have started gaining acceptance. These electric APUs use battery packs instead of the diesel engine on traditional APUs as a source of power. The APU's battery pack is charged when the truck is in motion. When the truck is idle, the stored energy in the battery pack is then used to power an air conditioner, heater, and other devices
