Who else has had problems with their company EFS card not working?

We had a fleet wide message sent out last night at 2300 EST that the cards were experiencing a glitch, and would not function for fuel, cash advances, or lumper fees.

I had to park at 0140 on the perimeter of the Love's on US-23 in Circleville, OH with 1/16th of a fuel load remaining. Still waiting....

PackRat, I've been using mine with no issues. I've purchased fuel both yesterday and today.

Well, I just shut down for the day in Wytheville, VA and there was a bunch of drivers in the truck stop having issues with their cards. So... something is definitely up.

When I scaled in KC there was a guy getting bent out of shape with the cashier because his EFS card wasnt working. As if that's going to solve the issue wtf-2.gif

Some of the drivers here at In Wells NV are having issues.

I finally got fuel there in Circleville, OH at 1100 this morning. Just 50 gallons here to get me to the planned fuel stop in Bidwell, OH on US-35. I stopped there and filled the tanks and the DEF at 1230.

The one thing I did notice, was that I had no prompt to enter my odometer reading or the truck number at either place. I called this information in to our fuels department in case they need to pursue this with EFS.

Old School, wish you weren't that far south. I'm just stopped in Nitro, WVA on I-64. Just a ways from here, I get on 77 for the remainder of this trip to Statesville tomorrow morning.

Prime's went down and were back up around 0600. I'd just pay for fuel and get reimbursed. Would suck for the company losing their discount though.

That only works if the company approves the cash purchase ahead of time.

A friend of mine who runs a daycab for MLS had problems fueling with her efs card. they actually asked her to pay for the fuel herself and submit for reimbursement... boy was she po'ed about that lol. They have a terminal at Glendale, KY right across from the pilot.. cant believe they don't have their own fuel pumps.

Terminal:

A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.

BMI:

Body mass index (BMI)

BMI is a formula that uses weight and height to estimate body fat. For most people, BMI provides a reasonable estimate of body fat. The BMI's biggest weakness is that it doesn't consider individual factors such as bone or muscle mass. BMI may:

  • Underestimate body fat for older adults or other people with low muscle mass
  • Overestimate body fat for people who are very muscular and physically fit

It's quite common, especially for men, to fall into the "overweight" category if you happen to be stronger than average. If you're pretty strong but in good shape then pay no attention.
