You really have morphed into quite the stalker-type, haven't you?

That's all gonna change in about a month, along with the frequency of my posting.

Mind if I borrow that one?

Have at it. Just sent me the royalties

BTW, I will be in Chicago again this weekend if you would like to meet up

I should be off on Sunday but with this snow storm coming I probably wont work tonight and may have to work Sunday instead. I'll let you know I live right off 55 so it wont be out of your way.

He seems to have a thing for day cabs. Maybe it's a sub conscious hint?

Day Cab:

A tractor which does not have a sleeper berth attached to it. Normally used for local routes where drivers go home every night.

It could be. I don't think Prime has any OTR Daycab Flatbed positions, though.

OTR:

Over The Road

OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.

Unfortunately I don't have the time for a long winded response to this. Someone will be along shortly to give you a more detailed answer. The short version:

"Revenues" aren't the same as "profit". Sure, you can earn $235k in revenue, but your operating expenses will likely be in the range of $160k-$175k, leaving you a profit of $60k- $75k, the same as a good company driver.

And you will have to work almost continuously. Pick your own schedule indeed. Lol

I'm all for meeting new people. It's so much more enriching to meet people in person and spend some time to really get to know them beyond their online persona.

But as I mentioned, that will all change very soon as I'll be busier than a one-legged man in a butt-kicking contest.

He did meet Rainy and survived to live another day.

Like others have said, this sounds like a scam. While yes, an O/O or L/O can have a revenue of 200K+ TO THE TRUCK, that does not show expenses to be an operator like maintenance, fuel, truck/trailer payments, insurance, taxes, health insurance, workers comp, etc. Ao in the end, you would only make a little bit more than a company driver.

There are several companies that have company drivers with none of the overhead of being an O/O or L/O, that make 80-100k/year or more and they are home every week.

Oh, and one more thing, the drivers at other companies making 80-100k/year or more are solo, not teams...
