I been finding myself listening to quite a bit of podcasts or audiobooks lately. Was wondering if yall had any recommendations to help kill the time while driving?

Joe Rogan experience is always interesting. He interviews people from all walks of life.

The Last Podcast on The Left is a true crime podcast. It has elements of gruesome crime stories but also comedy to lighten up the gory details.

Bad friends with Andrew Santino and Bobby lee. It’s a silly comedy podcast.

Casefile is another true crime podcast but it is very dark and gruesome.

Well... I just happen to be a published author. 😂

Zodiac Lives is a great thriller about a little girl with memories of a past life. She gives info that leads to the discovery of evidence in an unsolved serial killer case. The killer has been in hiding for 20 years and starts killing again, trying to find out who knows his identity

That one is better written than the others although I am told the others were great stories

I like time suck. It's a history lesson with a comedic twist. I also listen to business wars. They give you the detailed accounts of businesses going to head to head with dramatizations. There's Pizza hut vs dominos, blockbuster vs netflix, Uber vs lyft, FedEx vs UPS and a bunch of others.

Hey harvest: Haulin Assets can pass some time, also I’ve been listening to KEN FOLLETS audio books and they definitely knock don’t some miles. I paid for Stephen kinds UNDER THE DOME, it’s 34 hours but can be very dark. Also audible has a lot of free content due to COVID right now.

Oh and ARMCHAIR EXPERT has a lot of interesting guests

I'll second Joseph's Casefile True Crime recommendation. The episodes are long and many are in more than one part. You can get at least an hour out of even the shortest episodes. Joe Rogan Experience is good too.

If you like history: -American Revolution Podcast -History of Rome -Age of Napoleon -Civil War (1861-1865): A History Podcast

Oddly enough I can listen to podcasts and take in all the info but, when it comes to audio books, I have given up. I have to keep rewinding bc I can't focus on characters and dialogue while driving.

I mix it up between audiobooks, podcasts, and music. For audiobooks, I was using Audible pretty much exclusively, until I discovered that our local city/county library offers audiobooks, too. They have an excellent selection, new and old, fiction and non-, good and bad.

Just started with the Altered Carbon series. Excellent. Also, the Dresden Files series by Jim Butcher are a lot of fun. Joe Abercrombie's stuff is excellent, Thee Blade Itself, Red Country, Last Argument of Kings, etc.

Spotify has an excellent selection of podcasts. I'm listening to Mythology once in a while, it's really very well done.

Met a driver on Facepalm that LOVES your stuff. He's a writer/poet, mostly...not published, but should be.

You're 'OUT' on the roads, girl~! Hard to find on social media, though.... no more tweeting?

Interesting thanks. Who has time? I dont have time to write...or do book fairs.... So forget the website. Maybe my air of mystery will sell the books Hahahah

I did a lot of virtual tours. Facebook got vicious and i backed away. Im not part of the author community anymore...so if I come off the road maybe I will start writing again. Who knows.
