Covid made that really hard. Find a good area and uber. Most dentists will take your as a work on for emergencies. Pain killers arent allowed on the truck though. Prime requires 24 hours between meds and driving.
I found an awesome doctor in springfield. ITooth dental. You could park at a nearby mall and uber. Love that place.
NJ dentists wanted me in the state for 2 weeks. Because of covid.
There are a few truck stops with a resident dentist. Whites in Virginia has one within walking distance on the same complex, and The Iowa 80 has a dentist office in it. I've seen some others, but can't remember where they are right now.
Disclaimer... I have been off the road this past year. The Panicdemic may have changed some things that I am unaware of. I agree with Kearsey. You can always Uber to just about anything you need out here. Just communicate with your dispatcher concerning your needs. You don't want to leave them looking like an idiot to their managers.
If your company can run you through your home area, that would be best. If it’s one of the National carriers, sometimes they get loads that have a flexible delivery. It can’t hurt to ask.
I would say I need to get home ASAP. They would get home ASAP. This would, of course, depend how far I was from home.
