As of 2022, HO Wolding, Britton Transport, and some other company Bison owns (LOL) will be known as Bison USA.

Marc Wolding will be president, and other than signage so far nothing else has changed, other than a $2/hr raise this month.

Bison bought Wolding right when I started almost 3 years ago and has been run by Marc as a stand alone business since.

Name change on the trucks, as in no more "H.O.W." ? Will you still have the dark blue color tractors, or unknown at this time, Grumpy?

Last I heard H O Wolding was 106 years old and still coming into the office occasionally. Is H O still alive?

Herb will be 109 this month. He came to the office fairly often until covid. Now I believe they bring him to the yard occasionally to see the trucks but he doesn’t go inside.

Last year:

I’m not sure what will happen in the future, but they have purchased over 225 new trucks in the last 3 years, most of those in the last two, so we will be blue for a few years anyway.

I think they will change the name, but I think it is a mistake. HOW has a lot of name recognition, seems a shame to abandon it. They said something about branding though. If they are smart they will just add “ a division of Bison USA “ or something

That is amazing that he has lived such a long life. In the picture in that link he looks to be about 80. To make it to 109 is really incredible. He sounds like a great guy. It's no wonder all our members who work at H O Wolding have been so happy with their jobs.
