If I recall correctly we're supposed to notify our employer within 24 hours of a ticket even in our personal cars
Yup, that's how it is at most companies.
Sorry that happened Davy!
Unfortunately you are supposed to report it to the company.
When you are playing with your toys you are going to have to be a little more careful. You're a trucker now. You are sentenced to a life of driving slow and careful. Once you get over 70 mph bad things are going to happen.
After all the problems you had getting hired, and you got another speeding ticket? SMH
I know. Thought I was safe in that margin, I thought wrong. Have a conference with an attorney tomorrow. Ill let my DM know tomorrow as well. Well, this will be an expensive lesson. Hopefully others will benefit from my carelessness by reading about it and not doing it. Think Ill let the wife drive the vette from now on.
Bummer, Davy. Let us know how your company handles the issue. Iām just curious because this could happen to anyone if not careful.

LOL It's a good thing I'm not your wife....I'd be getting tickets for 30, 40 and even 50 mph over several days a week!! š I drive FAST! š

Make sure your attorney is aware of the FMCSA anti masking regulations:
Failure to handle the ticket properly may result in the ticke still showing up on your MVR.
A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:
The CSA is a Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) initiative to improve large truck and bus safety and ultimately reduce crashes, injuries, and fatalities that are related to commercial motor vehicle
The FMCSA was established within the Department of Transportation on January 1, 2000. Their primary mission is to prevent commercial motor vehicle-related fatalities and injuries.
What Does The FMCSA Do?
An MVR is a report of your driving history, as reported from your state Department of Motor Vehicles. Information on this report may include Drivers License information, point history, violations, convictions, and license status on your driving record.

He is, it's one of the reasons I'm going with him. His website specifically mentioned that. I talked with the firm today, they were already picking apart the ticket. From the sounds of it, he has experience with this court, so I'll see how it goes. Called my DM and left a message, he's out today, I'll see what he says in the AM.

Posting in the other thread made me think about it. Got a ticket in the Vette for 9 over. I will be going to court on it, and anticipate at least a reduction, if not removal of it. Do I need to inform my company of the ticket before it's adjudicated?
Frustrated that I still got yet another speeding ticket without even speeding like I used to, but that's irrelevant. I have a flawless safety record with Knight and hopefully this doesn't reflect badly. If I recall correctly were supposed to notify our employer within 24 hours of a ticket even in our personal cars
