My experience is that the vast majority of drivers are safe, courteous, professional and a credit to the industry.

However ………. Then there are those few who continue to do things that allow the general public to think all drivers are cretins and barbarians at the gate. Today I pulled into a parking area and someone had dumped 13 pee bottles out on the pavement to get run over. And these were 16 ounce bottles. Only a pencil d**k can pee in a 16 oz bottle. Whoever did this, I hope the fleas of 1000 camels infest your armpits.

That's just gross and so wrong... I mean I'm not in trucking right now, I've decided January 2022; new year means new career as I've made the decision to get out of the career I'm in now. I would imagine that I'd probably have a few of those just for emergencies out in the middle of no where and such, but I'd also properly dispose of them! Let alone couldn't image thirteen of them.

I've told folks around me, impressions matter. You don't know me, but if I'm well showered, well groomed, well dressed and so forth you'll likely have a good impression of me and perhaps feel better about what I do and not think of me as some heathen.

With a proper set of aiming skills diameter is irrelevant, it is more than possible to operate in a touchless mode LOL

This is rampant and the sad truth is sometimes drivers are their own worst enemy. This is the biggest reason we see the " NO TRUCK PARKING" signs more and more. Every rest area, truck parking area, or truck stop has garbage left behind by some stupid, lazy driver. There could be an individual dumpster at every space and a select few idiots would still throw trash onto the ground. To me, NOT throwing trash onto the ground is a given; just like wearing a seat belt, using the turn signals, and wearing clean clothes at a customer.

I know the cause and the guilty parties, but I don't have any solution. Those of us that do it the right way are punished for the acts of a few dirtbags.

I saw a full jug at the loves the other day sitting next to the garbage can in the fuel island. Unless someone just didn’t want apple juice anymore.

And check this guy out. Trash caked in the dash and the passenger seat was completely covered in trash. I could honestly smell the truck. Truck was even dirtier on the outside. This guy doesn’t help our name either. Take pride.

Is there a sanitary solution to having to go while on the road? And what do you do with the filled pee bottles that is acceptable? Dump them out in the bathroom toilet?

With THAT, and the color truck, (though I like it . . . ) isn't that a DOT/COOP WISH ... 'waiting to happen?'

SMDH.

Lady(ies) I know, prefer Tide/Gain laundry detergent bottles, and do JUST THAT. I'll get a set up like Kearsey/Rainy when I get out there w/kitty litter & all the fixings, but yeah. . . never leave your 'DNA' laying around, sheesh!

DOT:

Department Of Transportation

A department of the federal executive branch responsible for the national highways and for railroad and airline safety. It also manages Amtrak, the national railroad system, and the Coast Guard.

State and Federal DOT Officers are responsible for commercial vehicle enforcement. "The truck police" you could call them.

YES! Sorry, not mad at you.

This is one of the most dumba$$ things a driver can do. If you can go into a shower, you can put those bottles in your backpack and dump them out in the toilet.

Sorry peeps, but this is THE ONE thing I don’t understand about drivers. Heck, I watched a driver pull into a Pilot, stop in the driveway, in the middle of the afternoon, and pee between the cab and the drives. TOO FREAKING LAZY to go inside to the bathroom. And YES, there were plenty of parking spaces.

I apologize for the rant and, unfortunately, the scumbags who need to learn some manners, never will. Kinda like the drivers who stink to high heavens, as if they aren’t earning free showers. 🤦‍♂️

Just a little history on urine. In prisoner of war camps, it was common for the soldiers to be allowed to have gardens to produce food for themselves. If they didn’t have a water supply, or even if they did, they would use their urine because urine is high in nitrogen and is sterile, thereby safe to use for gardening purposes.

So, if there are urine containers to be emptied, do the earth a favor and find a place out of the way and dump them on any vegetation. After the first rain, the urine is gone and the soul has more nitrogen.
