A friend of mine hosts a podcast about people who make life changes, and he interviewed me recently about trucking.

It's a free podcast, and I don't benefit from it in any way, but mods remove this if not allowed.

I had them put truckingtruth.com in the show notes, since this place has been so helpful to me in this transition.

Very cool, man! I'm gonna check that out in a little bit. I'm getting ready to film some videos for Trucking Truth right now, then I'll give it a listen.

I've been in this industry for 30 years, and now you've done as many interviews as I have!

Tom and I will either listen to this over sleepy tea, or java .. before his work, in the am.

I'm excited!

Just like Brett said, welcome to the club of the 'famous!'

IDMtnGal: Laura in the NEWS!

Kearsey/Rainy: The Asian Mai Show!

Brett, himself: Road Dog Trucking!

Welcome to the TT wall of FAME, my friend!!!!!

ps: G'Town and Old School's blogs (and O/S word press) are legends, in and of themselves!

G'Town: G'Town's Blogs!

Old School: Old School's Blogs!

All the above are LEGENDS, and now, you are, too!

(Hope somebody TAGS this thread as the "Best of the Best!" (I dunno how!) )

Dm:

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.

Thanks, Brett, G-Town, and Anne! I'm glad for your interest and hope the podcast episode introduces a broader audience to a deeper awareness of trucking and truckers.

That’s awesome, Matt! I listened to some of it before I was interrupted. Tomorrow I’ll listen to the rest.

I’ve got to say. I was very impressed. Great voice quality, excellent pitch pace and power (that’s what modulation is) you are articulate and very easy to listen to.

Finally listened to this, in it's entirety, with my driver guy today!!!!

He apologized for the 'icy & dicey' roads in Ohio, haha!! Sorry!!!!

Tom & I waxed 'quixotic' at some points, as well.. and then reality rang it's bells!

You are SO awesome, man! Beginning to end. Your shouts to the ladies, out of the park.

You knocked it WAY out of the park, mi mano. Exemplar for/toward the PROFESSION!! Your background, enamours!!

I've shared it (a wee bit...) and I'll leave you with one more thing; a pet (like Laura's Monty) is a great idea...his cousins are all in that one thread, haha!! They abound. I've heard, Rainy got a new cat, too!!! Nice! (Laura has hailed goats, as well!)

Just. Don't. Get. A. Bird. >> Pebble Bird ~ ! but for safety, I'd guess! ;)~

Major kudos, always.
