A shout out to ALL. It is with honor and great thanks and solidarity; Tom and I both being from military families, to thank you, as drivers now, and as soldiers, first.

Especially, those of you driving, this weekend. We are praying for y'all's safety, for sure. And for comfort knowing you're coming home, to your families, friends, and pets.

"As we set today aside to honor and thank our veterans, let us be mindful that we should do this every day of the year and not just one." β€” Beth Pennington

Amen, to the above quote.

Many thanks to all who served. One brother and an Uncle within my immediately family. My wifes grandfather John Muniz served in The United States Air Force WW2, flew supply missions. RIP. I also had the honor of knowing William "Bud" Liebenow who served in The United States Navy during WW2. He had the honor of saving John F Kennedy. God bless!

Liebenow?????? ARE YOU FOR REAL?!?!?!?? My dad spoke of him. Dad's 2nd wife was German, he was Navy. I was never inclusive to the intricacies, haha!

Read below....Tom knew (or his dad did) The Ainsworths!! PLEASE READ, Chris. I really think & believe in my heart, you'll relate... many assimilates!

MAJOR MAJOR GRATS, TOO HOT & humid, tho~! Gorgeous, Steve L. !! I gave up 'similar' to be a 'real' hillbilly, haha! Pix here:

Barn Life .. at the end. I've no flag photos, I'm sorry.... Haven't taken any photos today, but that's AWESOME!! I'll grab some, if I can~ It's just a 'block party' since our road is mostly (all?) Tom's fam damily, haha! Started at 1500 for Clinton's observance; we still do it here. Parade & all~ Older folks are not akin to pix. . .

One parade yesterday, and a special celebration at church yesterday. I can't BELIEVE I got him UP at 0700!

If y'all have time, read this: Tom's dad SERVED with Sr. Ainsworth. Yeah. May be TL;DR, but.. wow. A Fleet of One. The Ainsworths.

To some, this day is: Bottoms Up!

All great, in moderation, I guess. Tom did the cooking today, and we reminisced. He lost his dad (and middle brother) service related, and I've recently lost MY dad and my brother, retired Navy.

Laura & PackRat, HOPE Y'ALL ARE ENJOYING THE DAY!!! Y'all deserve it. Don't make him cut limbs, save it & celebrate, relax, and eat well! Hug Monty from usn's too!!

~ Anne & Tom ~

ps: Steve L., again.....gorgeous. Over and above. Thank you. Song was great; playing it NOW, ttya!

pps: Is that related to the 'raining lizards' that our beloved and late Rick Stern spoke of? RIP, Rickipedia.

Anne, that video is one of my favorites. I believe it’s important we remember the sacrifices that have made this wonderful life possible. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ˜Ž
