GTown, not all people are the same. You are admittedly more serious than me. I appreciate that and have greatly benefited from your professional knowledge. But I’m going to be 70 years old on October 4th. You can ban me from the forum, but you can’t change that. Haha!

If I wanted to ban you it would have already happened. I asked you to tone it down a bit…which you’ve done basically the opposite. That’s on you.

The comment you made to Chief Brody in another thread is proof of that. Being humorous is one thing…but that was nothing more than you being a smart ass and completely ignoring the truth. Your ELD will allow you todo a myriad of illegal and non-compliant things…you know that. Why get Snarky with Chief Brody? Many of us called you out for fueling off-duty, including me. You just cannot concede…

Thanks for letting me know I helped you. I’ll give it the benefit of the doubt, although at times it’s difficult to know when to take you serious and when not to. Had I been the class clown, helping you would have never happened.

I never asked you NOT to make humorous replies. I asked you to tone it down a bit… that’s all.

Dm:

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.

Okay, G Town, I appreciate your feedback. You have been incredibly helpful To me in my driving career. I highly respect your comments.

And yes, I like to have fun here on TT. I also like to contribute when I can. I have made mistakes and I’m not egotistical about admitting them, for educational purposes.

But, the humor aspect of my personality probably is not going to happen on the down low anytime soon. . Sorry, lol.

Okay, man. I’ll try but it might be like asking a tiger to change its stripes. I might need to get a therapist for that.

Also, my reply to Chief Brody was dead serious. As I said, I’m just trying to learn and I may, rarely, ask dumb questions. Ok, I may need to change “rarely” to “frequently”, sorry.

Yeah, sorry 'bout that! I am suffering a severe lack of sleep and human contact, on top of vastly depleted clean clothing options. It has made me one grumpy woman! 🤣🤣🤣 I can handle baby wipe showers, but I better have clean clothes dangit!

Has there been some really testy and bizarre posts around here last couple weeks, especially in the last week or is it just me?

To original poster...

My cousins Vinnie and Paulie in NJ would gladly appreciate you asking if you hit them. I can see it now...

Driver: Excuse me, did I hit you? I don't think I did.

Vinnie:. "You're damn right you did! And pushed my truck 5 feet forward! My brother was thrown from the bunk." Then he yells into the truck, "Yo, Paulie. You alive? No? OMG! My brother is dying, call 911."

Paulie moans, "I think my neck is broken"

Vinnie: "Oh damn, my brother crapped and peed all over! You knocked his colon loose. I'm gonna knock your face loose!"

Driver: "bro, I was just being polite. I know I didn't hit you."

Vinnie: "I recorded you. You said you didn't think you did. But ya did."

Paulie: "Someone write down my dying declaration. I'm dying cause this mook hit our parked truck."

Police arrive.

Driver: "These guys are trying to scam me."

Officer gets statements and issues a ton of citations to driver. Calls paramedics. Driver leaves, handcuffed in another police car.

Officer say to Vinnie and Paulie: "Tell your mother I'm coming for Sunday dinner. I haven't seen Aunt Rita in forever."

BK... That is how you do comedy. 😂

OOS:

When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.

Funny, yes, but I still like the "Dad" jokes.
