So we have had a lot of dumb drivers come to our company and I have seen stupid in the shape of impatience followed by stupidity but this just TOPS it all. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Truck takes out gas pumps after pulling into wrong stall

CDL:

So he wiped out one pump and then tried to go around and missed that horribly and took out another and got himself hung up on the block.

I wouldn't want to explain to safety or I'm guessing in his case the insurance company.

Yep, I see damage in various places and just wonder how that happened.

The longer they pass lesser requirements to get a CDL the more stupid thigs we will see.

Would I be wrong in assuming it's foreigners thar don't understand English signs and the basics of American transportation that end up like this? We have had a LOT of that problem at my company including them feeling entitled to acting ignorant even though they know they were either taking advantage of our property or just lying so they wouldn't get in trouble.

I agree raise the bar about 10 foot higher and we won't have this going on. Require all to be able to read English and write English to get their cdl. Not trying to be harsh but I am trying to just say the truthconfused.gif

It’s not just foreign drivers who can’t read English. Many American born young people can’t read either, even if they “graduate” from HS. This country’s educational system fails many kids who are poor.

But I think all that damage will buff right out.

The language you speak doesn’t change the sound of metal crunching. Nor does it prevent you from looking in your mirrors.

I think you are right about that, Big T! People need to start thinking for themselves again.

All my life after getting my drivers license at 16, WHY, does California DMV's have the study guides in OTHER languages??? Cantonese,Korean,Spanish, etc etc the list goes on !!

IF they can't read, speak, understand the ENGLISH language, they should NOT be allowed to even obtain a license!! Started seeing the changes in the 1970s in school. English as a 2nd language, ok we had like a 50/50 mix of us gringo's and the mexican kids. My best bud from 2nd grade spoke none, but we grew up together, and he spoke it in no time!

When he was thru high school, he went and took the test to become legal. Went on to do a 4 year Navy stint, and is actually, MORE patriotic than I am !! hahaha...He put in a tall steel flag pole, and keeps his US flag's in perfect shape, replacing em as they show signs of wear, I bought him his last 1.

Now I say the same damn thing about our political system, with Ilham omar whatever her damn somali name is, and others like her. If they are NOT a natural BORN American, they should NEVER hold ANY political office PERIOD!!

The days of common sense, and using your brain are long gone !!

Dm:

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.

DMV:

Department of Motor Vehicles, Bureau of Motor Vehicles

The state agency that handles everything related to your driver's licences, including testing, issuance, transfers, and revocation.
