Sounds like a plan. It would be great to keep TT a popcorn-free area.

Thank goodness. So often these forums get hi-jacked by some know-it-all loudmouth that has never set foot in semi. Thank you, Brett.

Dm:

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.

Thank you Brett working so hard to keep this site the educational place it is. I was proud to introduce it to my recruiter the other day. I have learned so much here to prepare me for the journey I am now on. I start school tomorrow for CFI. Thanks to all I learned here, I think I am more prepared then most. So, once again, THANK YOU.

Hopefully I don't make the naughty list. I hope this is temporary, running a web site with a forum is time consuming enough as it is.

I also must admit that I'm always surprised by how many people keep coming around when they clearly do not like a professional environment like ours and they do not fit in whatsoever. Personally I never want to be somewhere I'm not wanted, and I never want to be in an environment that doesn't suit me.

So it only makes sense to me that if someone shows up here and sees this isn't the environment they're looking for they would simply go elsewhere. That's what I would do. In fact, I started this website because I couldn't find anyone that was giving honest, genuine, helpful advice in a friendly and professional environment. So I started my own. I didn't try to force my way into situations I didn't like and didn't belong in. That doesn't make any sense at all!

I've often wondered that myself, why blockheads will show up complaining about the cool-aid or mantra of this forum, when there are plenty of sites available who would welcome people of their ilk with open arms. I have to admit, at times they have provided comic relief, but that is neither the intent or purpose of this site.

Thanks and keep up the great work, Brett!

I cut my forum teeth on the old mmo gaming forums where trolls were more prevalent the honest posters. I didn't like it then, and like it even less now. The atmosphere here is one of the reasons I came here, and stayed. While I know it makes more work for you guys, I appreciate it. Thank you!

Why troll forums. When you can just kite a train into a newb. Then sit back and watch.

I realize I'm a washed-up Moderator who hasn't contributed much in the past 2 years, but I very much like this idea.

I've gotta tell ya, we're quite pleased with this system so far. It's working very well. I'm confident we're going to be able to keep this place far more civil and professional this way.

Your house, your rules Brett I've got no problem with the policy.
