PackRat, I like tough guys. You are the new poster child for them as far as I'm concerned.

We're all thrilled you are doing so well.

Excuse me as I pick my jaw up off the floor! Just an amazing read & lesson on not taking things for granted. May your journey forward become smoother with each passing day, thank you for your sacrifice & service, most importantly, God bless!

Whatever! Have you looked at your profile pic recently? That is a tough go, too.smile.gif

According to the professionals and judging by how I feel, I’m doing great. Another PLUS day yesterday, with vital stats and lab result numbers all looking good. Took four longer walks yesterday, all of these involving the stairs. Also, got to have my first shower in a month. Heavenly!!! Had my second biopsy on the new heart this morning. Simple in-and-out procedure of under 15 minutes, updating if the new one is performing well and if it is experiencing any signs of rejection. I have to do these each Monday for the next month (six weeks total). Worst part of this is the requirement to fast at least 12 hours beforehand each time, so no breakfast this morning at 0600. Thanks all for continued thoughts and prayers.thank-you.gifthank-you.gifthank-you.gif

I shall eat second breakfast each Monday for the next six, and to be sure it's appropriate which flavor of Ensure is your favorite? 😁😂😁😂

Get well soon, keep making progress. Hopefully we can encourage you and keep you lifted up the way you have done for many of us.

Ensure??? Oh my, that’ll be the day.rofl-3.gif I likely will be seen with four eggs scrambled, a six ounce ribeye, four slices of thick bacon and a cup of coffee before I start eating. 10 to 12 hours later I’ll have my second and final meal of the day. Thanks for the well wishes yesterday, today and every day as I head forward.thank-you-2.gif

Packrat, I've just signed on for the first time in months to chime in here. I'm more of a lurker; my husband is the driver in my family (He drives for the same company as Don...)

I just commend you, pray for you, and think about you.

No, we aren't O/O's.. just not new to the industry...... older folks, we are. Just wanted to share my love and prayers with you.

10/4... over and out.

Not much new to report. Everything is still progressing well here, so much so that tomorrow morning I get to start the checkout process to finally go home. Definitely a PLUS day! Thanks to all for the prayers and well wishes.thank-you.gifthank-you.gifthank-you.gif
