I lost my bank card and I’m broke on the road. What’s the best way a trucker can have his wife send him money? Is there a way? Thank you.

Western Union. Most Walmarts have them. Just Google Western Union. There should be one nearby. Good luck

Western union is one way, Walmart 2 Walmart is another option and usually cheaper.

If both people can make it to a Walmart, it's cheaper to just do Walmart 2 Walmart fees wise.

Pros - don't most companies have a way to send money to truck stops (cash advance against pay or expenses)? Unless driver wants to keep them out of it I thought this was pretty routine...

Walmart is the least expensive way to do this. Or your company can advance some money to you at a truck stop through your fuel card or even a commdata check, or similar item that you'd use to pay lumpers with.

Never had it happen to me but I know our company will advance needed funds if there's an emergency Via Comcheck... if you get some fuel you often don't even have to pay any fees to get a Comcheck cashed

Some Comdata cards you can use at the ATM. I've pulled out cash advances that way, but if you get fuel, it's better than paying the ATM fee.

Thanks for the reply’s. I’m going to get to a Walmart soon. My company will advance me money but I try to be a good widget and would rather not rise to the surface for little things. I prefer to operate in the background unnoticed.
