Heartbreaking!

I've been speaking with Old School through email and I'm hoping to convince him to use voice recordings that I can transcribe to write articles for us! That was he doesn't have to look at the computer screen. I don't care what it takes. We need to get the wisdom out of that man's head and into the lives of incoming drivers who so desperately need it!

Love you Mr.Dale. It was a pleasure meeting you several times and having dinner with you. You will pioneer through this just like everything else. God bless you

Old School,

So sorry to hear this. After I had met you at Hydro, I really hoped to take you up on your off to meet again and share our experiences with flatbedding.

I wish you the best and hope to see you out here again throwing tarps.

Everyone's covered it, O/S . . . but count me in, as well.

In reading all I can here on TT (which is a LOT!) ... it appears to me, that you have been a helluva inspiration to MANY MANY MANY on TT. Daniel B. sticks out the MOST in my mind. What a fine man he's grown up to be; what a ton he's contributed to this forum. I'm sticking to my heartfelt feeling, that YOU had a hand . . . in his growing up in this industry. What a FINE man he's become. My oldest is his age!

G.Dale . . . I'm speechless.

Take BRETT up .. on the voice posts!! Yeah, Talk to Text doesn't always work well.. it sure HATES my NY and country accent mix. I gave my Amazon Echo/Show to the kids. Dang thing was turning on lights at random..and nothing I said had lights in the context! I will HELP Brett edit and whatnot, if he needs. WE NEEDS! YOU! In here, as you can.

So much love for you, good sir. You are even a star on the TT Facebook page, last I checked.

I know, I know.. TL; DR.

>>> SHORT VERSION.. MISS YOU LOVE YOU.. GET WELL AS 'HE' SEES FIT! <<< (and howdy to your women..! Usn's & God love'em, too!)

So very sorry to read this Old School... Godspeed with your recovery. I hope something works out with Knight, as longs as it’s what’s best for you. I and everyone else sure do miss your presence here. Take care and heal quickly.

It's been great to see him 'pop in' here, on a thread or two! Brett, my days are going to be MUCH MORE FREE after Thanksgiving; long story about the son's homeschooling, but .. short story, he's going to be doing 'coding' as a half day program, certified VoTeCh .. so MOMMY CAN'T HELP! (Nor, will ole' ma try to, haha!) I would love to pitch in deciphering talk to text; I actually used to type dictation back in the day, for an attorney. Yep, 'dating' ' myself, LoL~!~

I'd be 'honored' to be a protege , or an affiliate of, the 'Digital Gangster!'

So sorry to hear your still sidelined for a bit. Praying and wishing you a full recovery.

On the other hand, it is great to see you posting again! TT just isnt the same without you. Your wisdom and knowledge is priceless.

I've emailed Old School recently, and he's written two articles for us. We will publish one today, one early next week.

He goes in for surgery tomorrow, Friday, Nov 19th, so we won't be hearing from him for a bit.

No one knows what the future holds for Old School, but we wish him the best and we're praying for this to go well. We hope to see him stay a regular around here for years to come!
