What should a driver do if he/she should encounter people in the road who are obstructing traffic on purpose such as protestors or rioters? What should the driver do or not do so as not to get in trouble with the law?

Dm:

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.

He should have a plow blade mounted on his truck then drive through the crowd, pushing the protesters safely off to the side of the road then explain to them in a calm manner that it is not safe to be in the roadway. However, this is really not a question with any validity nowadays because since the Unity president is now in office there will be no protests happening because we are all to busy hugging trees and singing kumbaya.

Depends. Are you one of the protestors?

A brief internet search reveals that most states have extended the "castle doctrine" to motor vehicles. Thus, if you feel a threat of violence from the protesters you would have the right to use deadly force (i.e. run them down) if you feel threatened.

FSMCA has reportedly been establishing a points system wherein larger protestors will graded better upon weight ratings, yet its complex as more points can be scored for purple haired water buffalo however even more points can be scored for protestors dressed in all black as they are more difficult to spot. In addition one needs to cross reference points awarded for agile protestors. Points can be deducted for protestors under the influence of marijuana as its a performance inhibitor that usually is marked by protestors eating and stating "Whoa Broski, was that real dude?" instead of actively dodging vehicles. Vehicle dodging is now actively being considered as a ranked sport for the Woke Olympics though, so only time will tell.
