1 mask, 2 mask, 3 mask, 4!!!!. What a bunch of nonsense. I would of walked to. I don’t even think the cdc ever recommended 2 masks. I thought that was strictly fauci. But hard to keep track of the games anymore.

Fauci has contradicted himself too many times to be trustworthy, IMO. I honestly think he's getting off on the fame at this point..

I would have walked over 2 masks too. Good for you!

I agree with you, Craig ~!!! LOVE that Jeep too, btw!

Banks . . . any updates on 'life?' Did I miss a thread, perhaps? (Highly unlikely .... haha! ... but .... ?!?)

Just me,

Good move sir! I would have walked away too. I would also specify that this is the specific reason why you are quitting every opportunity I get. If OD made us wear two masks I would quit too. But I doubt they ever would - corporate is from North Carolina and the executives are great people (I've met lots of them because they come to every terminal once a year to discuss annual raises). They didn't come across as sheeple to me.

There's way too many great trucking jobs out there that are desperate for drivers. I recommend P&D its really not a hard job if you're an experienced driver and know what turns you can and cannot make. Best work/life balance in the industry.

Terminal:

A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.

P&D:

Pickup & Delivery

Local drivers that stay around their area, usually within 100 mile radius of a terminal, picking up and delivering loads.

LTL (Less Than Truckload) carriers for instance will have Linehaul drivers and P&D drivers. The P&D drivers will deliver loads locally from the terminal and pick up loads returning to the terminal. Linehaul drivers will then run truckloads from terminal to terminal.

Kudos to you for standing up to em. I refuse to wear them. Havent met any shippers or recievers that even asked me to during training. The only reason I ever give is simply "I dont want to wear one" I dont care what data says either way. Im really struggling internally with company policy against CCW permit holders carrying in company vehicles. While I wont publicly announce my decision, again, I dont care about the debate on either side. Its my choice. I tremendously enjoy the company Im with, but I know in the back of my head that there are companies that approve of responsibly armed citizens for drivers.

Shipper:

The customer who is shipping the freight. This is where the driver will pick up a load and then deliver it to the receiver or consignee.

Corporates are left swingers joining the herd mentality.....its either 6 feet or a mask idiots lol

2 masks will definitely be a breathing issue for lots of folks.

Its ALL bout the money period. Now. I seen in a wal mart 4 pallets 5 foot high with hand wipes and same for sanitizer....

Makers have billions of overstock they cant give away....They missed the hoard craze awwww poor babies

Well, Stevo . . . NOW they are hoarding wood & pallets!!!

The Amish up my street are crazy busy, and guarding their goods . . . at the same time. Almost like PA where we live, haha!

How goes life with YOU these days, btw? Yep, the site 'cheerleader' (woman of wonder..) wonders!!

Davy why don’t you share with us those companies you know of who allow firesrms in their trucks. Maybe some small mom/pops but none of the larger carriers that we are aware.

Also if the carrier does, gotta make sure the states you travel have resiprosity with the state your ccw is issued. They are all different.

I personally don’t have a state ccw. I have the authority to carry on my retired law enforcement ID card per federal law.

If you ever use it be prepared for the consequences is all I have to say. Personally I can take care of business in other ways that will not bring anywhere near the scrutiney.

HOS:

Hours Of Service

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.
