He backed in next to me while I was doing my paper work after my meet, I pushed my red button to check for air leaks. I noticed he had a dog on a short chain attached to his truck, so I turned and walked back the other way got back in my truck. I saw he had gotten back in his truck and started walking into the truck stop I figured he put his dog back in his truck.

I started to pull away slowly and in the fender mirror saw the dog walking toward my truck so I slammed the breakes didn't push the clutch fast enough so the truck bucked and died.

He turned around and started walking towards me I got out and simply asked him he could pickup his dog so I don't run him over, I got a completely different reaction than I expected. He flipped out NOT because he thought I almost squashed his dog, but because I dared to tell him what to do with his dog. He started yelling and screaming that the dog is not close which ir was since it was over the yellow line in my spot and just drive my fing truck. I was shocked he kept walking toward me so I got back in my truck he started coming around the front of my truck screaming at me to get down and "show me how tough you are" ( which not very).

Needless to say I didn't get out, anyone who flips out that much over being asked to pick up his dog is not mentally stable and not someone I want to tangle with.

Yeah, I don't give these type of people the time of day. Far to many drivers have anger problems, and I'm not trying to lose my job over some idiot. rofl-3.gif

Bobcat, kudos to you for not being provoked by an idiot.

This is just one of a few reasons why I rather truck drivers didn’t carry guns lol. Fuel islands would turn into Wild West.

Funny how you mention that, I thought of the thread from a few days ago and had the same conclusion. Would have to put ballistic glass in all the trucks.
