Sometimes it’s about making it home and being able to fix breakfast for the ones you love. 😎

That's a nice looking omelette there Steve!

You are so right. I stopped off in Dayton, Ohio this week to see my eldest daughter and her family. She just brought our seventh grandchild into the world, and this was my first chance to see her.

I love being on the road, but I also treasure those times I spend with the folks I love. This career is an adventurous one, but I have to balance my love of adventure with the love I share for my family. It's a delicate balance that is worth maintaining.

Amen Sir! If there’s one benefit of driving I love more than any other, it’s being able to have the “travel agent” arrange an opportunity to meet up with far-away friends and family. 😎

Steve, you are so right about family. And omelettes. There is one guy we don’t hear from much anymore, Marc Lee (postcards from the road thread), and he is a world class omelette maker. He visited me some years back a made the best omelette I’ve ever eaten. I wish I had paid more attention to his secrets. However, YouTube has hundreds of great videos about cooking eggs.

As far as family, TT is my extended family I can always keep in touch with no matter where I’m at. Especially Momcat! Lol

I only see one omelet?

Maybe it’s two. Maybe one didn’t look as good after the fold, but was delicious (according to the person eating it) and the second was both beautiful AND delicious. #lookforthepositive😊

You KNOW it, BK !!! (Have it YOUR way!)

I've actually got that SAME set of skillets; gawsh I love them. Son's Christmas gift to me (us!) so I can teach HIM how to do the 'Omeletto!' Ya know, if Helwig ever routes you this way ... I'll cook you an 'Italian' omelet.... sausage and meatballs (mini,) marinara, and mozzarella! I call it the "Momma Perfetto~"

Looks awesome, Steve .... great job!!!

Thanks Anne. I didn’t eat the first, nor the second. I just didn’t think anyone cared about how many I cooked. 😆

Happy to teach! Been cookin' them since I was taught at age 4. Used to cry when they stuck to the pan. Folding Teflon pan fixed that?

Once cooked am 18 egger in cast iron at a chicken farm!
