I delivered a multi-stop load in Memphis, TN this morning. As I left my final stop and was heading back to my dedicated customer in Delhi, LA, I saw a man panhandling at an intersection holding a large cardboard sign. It said...

I Just Want A Beer And A Blunt. Can You Help Me?

I didn't donate, but he gave me a good laugh! We see such crazy things out here. It's part of what makes this lifestyle so entertaining for me.

You really CAN'T BEAT THAT one, for sure!

I'm going to keep a few 'penny rolls,' just for that...when I get on MY way! Good deterrent (brass knuckles,) and/or .. all I'd have to give away, hahaha!!

I actually thought when you said "I saw an honest man today" you were going to say .. you finally saw YOUR reflection in the mirror!

MJ came to mind...sorry! 'Man in the Mirror'

It's always great to see you back up in .. and starting 'hilarious' threads!!!

Got a chuckle outta me, for sure!

I will reward an honest person, but that's a bit more than what I will contribute to. It did tickle my funny bone! 😁😂🤣

I see many people with signs asking for help. Today I saw a woman at a shopping mall exit with a young child sitting next to her.

This breaks my heart, but how do we know who really needs help or are they there just because they are too lazy to work? It’s a real dilemma and I don’t know of any solution.

Exactly. Remember this, in the news? (I'll still be carrying rolled coins, OTR.)

Beggar Being Busted. (Poor kiddo, involved!) Great lesson, mama~

Over The Road

OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.
