I Haven’t slowed a bit or my running mates overall. We have a couple of slow down areas / clients but others have picked up. I just pulled 3200 miles in the past 7 days. For perspective I’m running general flatbed loads.

Been busy, but it depends on the area planner. Some times it may take a minute to get a load lined up, but then again I'll have 3 stacked up often.

I never have known my little corner of the world to slow down, but for reasons I don’t know it has. My customer notified me yesterday it will be a few weeks before I resume.

I had a backup plan available and this morning pulled the trigger on it. I’ll be pulling a reefer trailer the next 2-3 weeks at my best guess right now.

Yep senior chief I’m actually gonna have to work for a change, lol. Haven’t pulled a box in several years. I hope it all comes back🤭

Hopefully only a few weeks. It is actually for a very good friend that has had a few hard things fall her way. She is in need of some good drivers for sure. They haul strictly produce. Her dad is a produce broker and they have their own trucks and a few O/O’s they work with. She has had 2 drivers total out trucks and one that blew an engine. Suprised me the blown engine is in a 22 w900. Cummins motor. All the more reason I will keep my oldie but goodie.

When I first got my own authority we talked and she told me she will always work with me, because she knows how I am and she can trust what I say and do. She actually just got 4 new trailers in June and has arranged for this load to go on one of them. She told me she didn’t want me spending a few hours writing up her older trailers.

She and her entire family are very nice folks I have known since before I started driving. We are helping each other out!!

It's when you start driving a day cab that we'll start looking at ya sideways...

Day Cab:

A tractor which does not have a sleeper berth attached to it. Normally used for local routes where drivers go home every night.
