I just can't believe I actually admitted it on the internet that I almost peed myself! Oopsie

I barely set my brakes, and hopped out, and RAN to the bathroom

Good defensive driving is how we avoid accidents. But there are accidents and there are "accidents". Avoiding both kinds takes a great amount of skill.

Well done!

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.

That's me multiple times a month. Brain signals air brakes to the bladder, ears hear this and start opening the valve. Body goes upright from the seat, starting the 30 second countdown clock. Much easier for males than females to accomplish #1, though.

Place this on top of a 5 gal. bucket with a liner in it and you have a trash can and emergency toilet all in one.

It has come in handy a few times! All the rest of the time, it sits between the seats and acts as a trash can.

If it makes ya feel better I've almost crapped myself a couple times. I'm in a daycab so I don't have the "luxury" of having an emergency solution. One time was across US 20 about 30 miles from my store in Sioux City with absolutely no where to pull off with facilities. Made it to the store but had to stop walking a couple times to regain control. Learned real quick coffee and teriyaki jerky aren't a good fit for me.

This past week I wasn't feeling too great so I didn't take too big of routes as the week went on. Again I was on US 20 but this time about 20 miles from Cedar Falls/Waterloo. Planned to stop at the BP near Grundy Center but felt fine as I got closer. Shortly after felt the urge to go. I kid you not I was literally 8 minutes away from my store and had to pull into a Kwik Star just off the highway. There's been a few other times not as close but hopefully that makes you feel better smile.gif atleast I haven't had to stop on the side of the road as I've unfortunately witnessed other guys doing. Such as a guy under his trailer squating a few miles past Walcott.

I can not believe I am going to admit this but I had to stop on the should and run to the brush to go once. Had that gurgle feeling and was like I can make it to the nice truck stop in 45 miles. Gurgles got worse, I had 30 miles to go, I had to pull over onto the should and run down the ditch, falling in the process to go to the woods. I was worried because I am pretty sure people could see me, plus like 5 miles back there was a state trooper on the shoulder and I was thinking he would see me stopped and come to check on me.

My company has monthly safety training we have to complete if we want to get our monthly bonus.

This month was discussing workplace violence. The video said that one way to avoid violence was to avoid going to unfamiliar places.

My job is 99% going to unfamiliar places lol
