Man, that's fantastic!

First, congrats on landing the new gig. You've obviously earned it and deserve it.

Second, now you'll have the option of putting middle schoolers back on the bus and sending them home! How sweet is that!

Third, this would be a huge opportunity for us to help incoming drivers be better prepared for Paid CDL Training Programs. I think we should put together something on the website for you. I'm not even sure what just yet. Could be articles, could be videos - who knows? We'll have to set up something for ya.

Very cool, man. This is really good for you, and really great for incoming students.

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

Congratulations Errol!

I actually have a genuine personal interest in this new job of yours. I think it's going to make it much easier for me to collect on that seafood dinner you promised me last time we had the meeting of the dinosaurs!

I'm still looking forward to that!

Congratulations, Errol! I have benefited greatly from reading your posts here. Your students will be fortunate to have you. I just hope that they are smart enough to realize that. ;)

Congrats Errol. I was hoping to maybe visit with you when I get to Memphis, now it looks like you will be teaching me even more. Not sure when I will be there but probably around April or May.
