Thanks. Not sure what happen, something about truck in front starting to Jack knife, and our truck clipped him. Winter Weather was involved.

Wow! Dan, keep us posted on how you guys are doing. We all wish you well, and a speedy recovery. This job is fraught with risks. It's one of the many things we have to manage out here. This heavy winter weather just multiplies the chances of something going wrong.

Everybody pay attention here. Keep safe distances between your vehicle and others around you. Things can go badly really quickly when there's ice built up on the highway. A typical following distance in normal road conditions is not near sufficient when dealing with iced roadways. I saw six overturned big rigs the other day on one stretch of icy interstate. You can usually sit it out for a day and everything will be great. Don't take excessive risks when it's not necessary.

Commercial trade, business, movement of goods or money, or transportation from one state to another, regulated by the Federal Department Of Transportation (DOT).

OWI:

Operating While Intoxicated
