Ok so who uses a personal Tablet versus a laptop PC. I haven't found any real discussion on this and if a thread already exists please feel free to link to it so I can add to the discussion. Anyway. I should also note I am new to trucking as of this post I have not been inside a truck in 15 years so a lot/ everything has changed. Trucks are cramped spaces as such I think the room is always at a premium. I love to travel and travel light. So I personally found the Ipad Pro fit my need for several uses. Is anyone out there using this or a similar product? If so what are have you found to be the ups and downs versus the good ole Laptop?

I don’t have one but my buddy from school has one and he uses it to watch movies and everything else. He loves it All he has is the I-Pad and his cell phone on the road

I used to use my iPad to watch things, but since I got my new truck I have a small TV and use my PS4 to watch movies and what not.

I’d just like to point out that there are still books out there if anybody wants a good old fashioned experience. I find that when I’m on the road reading a book gets me to sleep faster than anything else.

You are supposed to actually read it, not thump yourself on the head with it repeatedly until you are unconscious.

I use a tablet, and my laptop, along with my Xbox 1.

My tablet is primarily used as a GPS, eReader, and I store all my Transflo pictures on it.

My laptop is primarily my music /video editing platform.

And my Xbox, well, that is for gaming, and Netflix.

My Xbox is used the least, mainly during resets. I am mostly on my tablet, and my laptop, working on my music, each day.

My phone is used constantly. I have a laptop to watch movies on on the rare occasion I reset.
