I have a Transflo app on my phone. It has always worked great for me.
I haven't tried it on the tablet, I personally use my phone and have had no problems.
I’ve had that problem once, in low light
Have you tried bypassing the message and see how the documentation looks? Whenever i send in a scale ticket it would give me the message because the paper is yellow, but you could still read it fine.
You can download the app to your phone and use your company info to register. Then you can use your camera flash and focus to get a clear pic. As mentioned before, you can also bypass the message and see if it's legible. I never had a problem.
Tablets typically have lower resolution cameras, not as good in low light, etc.. Image stabilization probably also not as good.
Try other suggestions but a modern smartphone will probably yield much better results!
Like others have said your phone camera is probably of higher quality. If you use a black background the app works even better. I use my black kitchen floor mat and it crops just about every bill perfectly.
I didn’t know there was a mobile transflo app for the phone.
Without knowing that, I made a fixture to put my tablet in a stable position to take the camera scans. It’s a moot point now that I had to return my tablet to Schneider.

Schneider drivers have a Samsung tablet with various apps designed for the Schneider process. One app is the Transflo Mobile, that let us use the tablet to camera scan our paperwork to submit for billing. One problem I had was that to use the camera scan, the tablet needed to be hand-held over the papers at the correct height and held perfectly still. If the camera moved even a tiny bit, I got a 're-try' message that the image might not be readable. This was frustrating and I actually tried to transflo at a truck stop or OC to avoid this mobile transflo.
Have any of you other Schneider driver's experienced this problem? Are other companies doing the same thing with tablets and Mobile Transflo?
