To everyone who posts, answers and reads TT I wish a Happy Thanksgiving. I wish you all could be home for the holiday, some will and some won't. It is my pleasure to have driven OTR for 45 accident free years and about 3 million miles before retiring in 2012 in a great and rewarding profession. I just wanted to extend warm wishes for a great time to be with loved ones if possible.

OTR:

Over The Road

OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.

Happy Thanksgiving! I will not be home personally by choice, I was offered to be routes by the house but decided against it.

Happy Thanksgiving!! My first with no family or friends to spend it with, but I will finally meet up with my trainer on Saturday and start this career!

I'm so thankful for this forum and all the people on here who have helped me!!!
