Thanks guys. It is nice to see i helped some of you as well. Getting you to chuckle is fun too.

My trainee sits next to me after her shift and laughs for an hour before she heads to bed. I dont even mean to be funny.

She asked tonight cause we shut down for wind in WY... "What if they try to force you to drive?"

I said "I'd ask them when they got their CDL and if they are so concerned about risking lives they can come pick up the trailer themselves cause my truck isn't moving until they take the keys from me".

She spit her soda all over my dash busting out laughing.

CDL:

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:

  • Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

Kearney You aren't on the GPS Tracker?

Where did you get stopped at? I came thru it coming down out of Cody WY and made it to Little America last night. Headed to Salt Lake in a bit and it's calm here. Got text messages that it's still shut down from Rawlins to Laramie.
