Well it's cold enough now that I finally bought an actual coat yesterday. I'd been wearing a cotton hoodie until now. I'll be headed to Van Buren Ohio today so I hope the freezing rain y'all are showing is long gone.

After I departed Cheyenne (26 degrees) this morning, about 45 minutes west through Laramie. This doesn't factor the 45 mph windchill.

Hopefully the Oregon part won't be bad for me! I have a drop at the Walmart DC in Hermiston as soon as I can make it happen. I checked the road conditions for Cabbage Hill and it will be clear with low winds and no precipitation.

Here's a shot of Donner's Pass from several years back. The snow was deep but the plows had the roadways cleared. I always enjoyed going through there. It's a beautiful area.
